In May, the Dept, of Education said "significant progress" has been made on acquisition of the lands, and, at that time, the matter was expected to proceed to legal conveyancing "in the near future."
Labour Councillor Ciara Galvin wants Kildare County Council to state to what stage the project has progressed in the intervening months.
Her motion comes before Friday's meeting of the Celbridge/Leixlip MD for debate.
