Two men are due in court today in connection with an armed robbery in Castledermot.
It happened at a business on the Main Street in Castledermot shortly after 2pm on Saturday.
Gardai say the men, who were armed with a handgun and a hammer, went behind the till area and emptied a sum of cash into a bag.
They fled the scene in a car but were located soon afterwards and were arrested.
The men, one in his 40s and one in his 20s, are due to appear before Naas District Court today.
