It was later recovered in Sallins and Kildare Gardaí are reviewing CCTV footage from the area.
A car was stolen from the car park at Kildare Town Train Station.
The incident happened on Thursday, March 13.
The car was taken sometime between 10:40 am and 9:50 pm.
The owner had securely locked the vehicle before boarding a train but returned later in the evening to find it missing.
The stolen car was later recovered in the Sallins area.
Kildare Gardaí are actively investigating the matter and reviewing CCTV footage from the area.
