It happened on the N25 at Ballinalboola.
Gardai in Co Wexford are appealing for witnesses to a road crash in which a man was seriously injured.
A car left the road and struck a tree on the N25 at Ballinalboola near New Ross at around 11pm last night.
The occupants - two men in their 20s - were taken to Waterford University Hospital.
The driver is in a serious condition, while the passenger sustained non life threatening injuries.
The road has reopened and gardai are asking anyome who was in the area at the time to contact them.
