A number of Irish passengers have been stranded in Canada since Thursday night, after a flight travelling from Newark to Dublin was diverted.
The United Airlines flight was due to land in Dublin Friday morning but was forced to land in St. Johns International Airport in Newfoundland, following a medical emergency onboard.
A spokesperson for the airline says that high winds have kept the aircraft grounded, but they're working to get passengers to Dublin as soon as it is safe to do so.
