A taxi driver has appeared in court, charged in connection with a cocaine seizure.
Gardaí seized his car following his arrest for possessing cocaine with intent to supply at two locations in Dublin.
31-year-old Stephan Murray of Clearstream Court, Finglas Dublin, appeared before Dublin District today.
He was charged with unlawfully having cocaine for sale or supply on August 3 at an apartment on Dominick Street Upper, north Dublin, and at Kimmage Road on the city’s south side.
Garda David O’Driscoll gave evidence of arrest, charge and caution.
The court heard the accused "made no reply after each charge".
Judge Cephas Power released him on bail, subject to strict conditions.
The taxi driver did not address the court and is yet to indicate a plea.
The accused is due back before the courts in October.
