Applications For Free EU-Wide Inter Rail Passes Open For Young People Today.

60,000 are being given out across Europe.

Applications for free rail passes across Europe for 18 year olds can be made from this morning.

The DiscoverEU initiative has opened for applications for the next two weeks.

The EU is awarding 60 thousand passes across the entire block, which can be used next year.

Fine Gael MEP for Ireland South, Deirdre Clune, says a similar initiative in 2018 proved to be very popular

The EU is giving away 60,000 interrail passes to young people aged 18-20.
