An eleven-year-old Irish girl has died after falling from a hotel balcony in Mallorca in Spain.
It happened in a family resort in Puerto de Alcudia early this morning.
Spanish police say her parents were sleeping at the time, and were unaware of what happened until later.
The Department of Foreign Affairs says it's aware of the case and is providing consular assistance.
A post mortem is due to take place later today.
It is believed the family were due to fly home today.
