Around 250,000 commercial flights were recorded at Dublin Airport in 2025, placing it 10th on the list of busiest EU airports.
Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands topped the list recording around 488 thousand flights during the year.
It was followed by Paris-Charles de Gaulle with 476 thousand and Frankfurt/Main with 457,000.
It total, there were 6.8 million commercial flights in and out of the EU last year according to Eurostat, that's an increase of 3.8% on 2024.
Non-scheduled commercial flights, including charter and other special flights, accounted for around 8.5 per cent of activity.
