A 22-year-old man has appeared in court charged over a large-scale violent confrontation in south Dublin at the weekend.

Augustin Rostas, with addresses at Convent Place, Hatch Street Lower and Kevin Street in Dublin 2, appeared before Dublin District Court charged with violent disorder.
The court heard around 15 people had been living at an abandoned premises at South County Business Park when a verbal dispute escalated into violence on Saturday.
Gardaí say CCTV showed a sustained confrontation involving several men, with poles, sticks and shovels used as weapons.
Mr Rostas is allegedly seen striking other men, while another person is accused of hitting the critically injured man twice with a shovel.
Three people required hospital treatment, with one remaining in intensive care on life support.
The 22-year-old was granted bail subject to several conditions, including obeying a curfew from 11PM to 7AM - but remains in custody pending a €1,000 lodgement and verification of his address.
He's due back in court on Friday.
