Government Nears 10-Week Wait-Time Goal As Multiple Learner Permit Crackdown Planned

Once the 10-week wait time target, the Junior Transport Minister has vowed to ban people from repeatedly renewing learner permits.

Locals with multiple learner permits are being urged to sit their tests.

New figures from PARC show the country is on course to meet its 10-week wait time target for the driving test.

Breda Bolger from the Bolger School of Motoring said there is a considerable cohort of people who are renewing their licenses to avoid the test.
