Minister James Browne responded to the report this afternoon.
The Housing Minister says he was unaware Brendan McDonagh had advertised a property he jointly owns on a short-term letting website for over €10,000 a week.
The CEO of NAMA withdrew his name from consideration to become the Government's new housing tsar last week, following controversy over his €430,000 salary.
The Ditch reports a four-bedroom home in Dublin, jointly owned by Mr. McDonagh, could be booked for over €10,000 a week.
