The arrest comes after investigations into distribution of drugs across Kildare, Offaly and Carlow.
A man's been charged in connection with an investigation into a Leinster-based organised crime group.
He was arrested by Gardaí this morning.
It comes after an extensive investigation targeting the sale and distribution of drugs across Laois, Offaly, Carlow and Kildare since last February.
The man, aged in his 30s, is due before Portlaoise District Court today.
