The number of FOI requests has increased, annually, since 2014.
A review into the Freedom of Information Act will get underway shortly, according to the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform.

Minister Michael McGrath believes that the current system is robust and functioning well.
However, he says it is now time to consider if there are better ways to achieve transparency in public administration.
