Revenue officers seized approximately 80.5kg of cannabis and 5kg of cocaine
€1.95million worth of drugs and €143,900 in cash have been seized at Dublin Port.
Revenue officers seized approximately 80.5kg of cannabis and 5kg of cocaine.
A male and a female (both aged in their 30's) were subsequently arrested and are currently detained pursuant to Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a Garda Station in Dublin.
Both have since been charged in relation to this investigation.
They are currently appearing before Dublin District Court, which was due to begin at 4:30pm today.
