The Courts Service Annual Report for 2025 shows larceny, fraud and robbery cases have seen a 13 per cent increase over two years, but a slight decrease year-on-year.

Over 379 thousand new criminal matters were presented to the courts in 2025, a drop of around 11 thousand on 2024, and more than 337 thousand cases were resolved.
