Freezing weather sparks concerns for Ireland’s rough sleepers
The current cold snap is raising new concerns for rough sleepers - as new figures show a record 15,199 people homeless, including 4,658 children.
It's the first time the number of people in emergency accommodation has topped 15 thousand.
Simon Communities Interim Executive Director Tony Geogeghan says the plunging temperatures are posing a deadly threat to people sleeping rough.
