The five day moving average of Covid-19 cases has increased by 47 percent
The Tanaiste says the daily Covid case numbers are expected to surpass 4,000 in the coming days.
They have been above 3,000 for the past three days.

As of 8am today, 458 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 90 are in ICU.
