Two men remain in custody in Cork following the seizure of €42,500 worth of herbal cannabis.
35,000 worth of the drug was discovered at a checkpoint on the Youghal Road in Midleton yesterday afternoon.
It was part of an operation targeting the delivery of illegal drugs into the town via public transport.
Two men in their 30s were arrested, and a further 7,500 euro of Herbal Cannabis was later found during a follow up search in Waterford.
