The GAA, the LGFA and the Camogie Association have revealed 2027 as the proposed date for their plans around full integration between the three organisations.
The Steering Group for Integration is being chaired by former Irish President Mary McAleese.
Areas such as facilities, finance, fixtures, human resources, membership and player welfare will be examined to see how best integration can work.
