Forwards Cullen Grace and Max Hicks, as well as scrum-half Sam Nock, have been drafted in ahead of next Wednesday's match.
Ireland are down under for a summer tour, which will feature two games against the Maori side.
They'll play New Zealand in three tests, the first of which is on Saturday week.
