Everton are facing the prospect of a 12-point Premier League penalty.

The Telegraph report that the Merseyside club have breached the league’s profit and sustainability rules.

Such a penalty would put Everton in severe danger of relegation to the Championship.

The club recorded losses of over 300-million pounds over a three-year period, with the Premier League limit at 105-million pounds.
