GAA

The Kildare senior hurlers are in Leinster Championship action this afternoon.

They take on Galway in St. Conleth’s Park at half-past three.

Kildare are still looking for their first win of the campaign, while Galway come into the game with maximum points from their opening two matches.

Seamus Dillon and Ger McNally will have full commentary, with build-up from 3.15 on More Music Sportsbeat.

 

Elsewhere in the Leinster hurling championship Round 3 today Wexford play Dublin at 4.

In Munster hurling, Waterford are home to Cork at 6.

The Kildare minor hurlers play Offaly at half-past twelve.

 

In football Clare play Offaly in the Tailteann (tay-lteen) Cup Round 1 at 4 o’clock.

While Wexford are against Limerick at 6.

 

Soccer

In the League of Ireland Premier Division last night, Bohemians beat Dundalk 3-1.

Shamrock Rovers won 3-1 against Galway United.

St Pats beat Waterford 4-1.

Drogheda United had a 1-nil win over Derry City. And Shelbourne drew nil-all with Sligo Rovers.

In the Premier League, Liverpool are home to Chelsea from half-past twelve.

At 3 o’clock Fulham play Bournemouth, and Sunderland are against Manchester United.

Then from half-past five, Manchester City take on Brentford.

The Scottish Premiership title race is down to one point.

Hearts are away to Motherwell tonight at 8. While Celtic play Rangers at 12 tomorrow.

 

Rugby

In rugby, Ulser drew 38-all with the Stormers last night.

Glasgow Warriors beat Cardiff 40-17.

This afternoon, Leinster play the Lions at half-past five.

Connacht are against Munster at a quarter to eight.

In the Women's Six Nations today, Italy play England at 2 o'clock.

Scotland are against France at quarter-past four. And Ireland play Wales at half-past six.

 

Golf

In golf, Rory McIlroy is tied for eigth after two rounds of the Truist Championship at Quail Hollow.

The Masters champion is five under par, four shots behind leader Kim Si Woo.

The tournament carries prize money of 20 million euro.

 

Racing

And in racing today, there are meetings at Naas and Killarney from 1 o'clock.
