Kildare Senior Footballers host Louth in their final game in Division 2.

GAELIC GAMES

The Kildare Senior Footballers will hope to end their Allianz Football League campaign with a win this evening.

Glenn Ryan's side play Louth at Netwatch Cullen Park at 7pm.

Kfm will have live commentary.

Ger McNally and Philie Wolfe will describe the action in association with Hanlon Concrete,Robertstown.

The Lillywhites have already been relegated to Division 3.

Louth need just a draw to secure their Division 2 status.

If Kildare win, Fermanagh will avoid the drop by beating Cavan at Kingspan Breffni Park.

Also today, Cork play Armagh, and Donegal face Meath.

 

Kildare take on Laois in the first round of the Electric Ireland Leinster Minor Hurling Championship at Manguard Park  this afternoon

While in Camogie, Kildare are away to Laois in the All Ireland Intermediate Championship.

The game takes place at St. Fintan’s GAA Ground in Mountrath at 2.00.

The Boys in Green play Belgium in an international friendly at the Aviva Stadium.

Cork City preserved a three-point lead at the top of the SSE Airtricity First Division, following a goalless draw away to Treaty United.

The Limerick side finished that game with ten men.

The Midlands Clasico lived up to its name, with Athlone Town salvaging a 3-3 draw - having been 3-nil down at the break - with Longford Town.

Athlone also finished that game with ten men.

Wexford edged a seven-goal thriller at the Carlisle Grounds, beating Bray 4-3.

UCD left it late to secure a 2-1 win away to Cobh Ramblers.

Finn Harps and Kerry finished goalless.

Ireland’s under-17s need a big win this morning to keep alive hopes of qualifying for this summer’s European Championships.

They follow a heavy mid-week defeat to Portugal with a game against Germany.

Kick-off is at 11.

Ireland begin their Women’s Six Nations campaign away to France this afternoon.

There’s a 2.15 start in Le Mans.

Following that match,  Wales face Scotland at Cardiff’s Arms Park.

R-G Snyman was the star of the show as Munster came away from the Ospreys with a bonus point win in the URC.

The Springbok lock’s second half try secured the bonus point in a 27-points to 17 win in Swansea.
