Victory for Liverpool and Man City in the Champions League.


Liverpool and Manchester City both won in the Champions League last night.

Goals from Mo Salah and Jordan Henderson enabled Liverpool to come from behind and defeat AC Milan 3-2 in Group B.

In the other game in that Group, Porto had a potential late winner ruled out by VAR and were then reduced to ten men in a scoreless draw at Atletico Madrid.

Manchester City were 6-3 winners over RB Leipzig in Group A, with Jack Grealish among the scorers.

In the other match in that Group, Lionel Messi made his first start for PSG, but they were held to a 1-1 draw by Club Brugge.

Leicester's Europa League campaign begins tonight with the visit of Napoli to the King Power Stadium.

In Group G, Celtic are away to Real Betis from 5.45.

And Rangers are in Group A action, with Lyon visiting Ibrox.

The inaugural Conference League group phase gets underway this evening, with Tottenham away to Rennes in Group G.

The IRFU has asked for reports from Connacht and Leinster regarding last week's facilities at Energia Park.

The association has agreed to a Connacht request to investigate why they and Ulster were forced to change in temporary facilities close to bins.

The IRFU say they are appalled by the situation.
