Former senior star, Fiachra Ó Muineacháin has been confirmed as a selector with Kildare Senior hurlers for 2024

A key full back with the county for many years, he played in goal for Celbridge in this years senior championship.

His appointment was ratified at last night's County Board meeting.

SOCCER

Celtic were hammered 6-0 by Atletico Madrid in Group E of the Champions League in Spain last night.

Brendan Rodgers' side are bottom of the Group.

Erling Haaland found the net twice for holders Manchester City as they beat Young Boys 3-0 In Group G to qualify for the last 16 with two games to spare.

Newcastle United are at the bottom of Group F after losing 2-0 away to Borussia Dortmund.

In the competition tonight, Manchester United are away to FC Copenhagen in Group A.
