18 people in total have been killed in the incident

A helicopter's crashed near a nursery school in Ukraine, killing 18 people - including the country's interior minister, and three children.

Police say the aircraft came down in a Kyiv suburb.

Ukrainian Interior Minister Denys Monastyrsky and his deputy Yevgeny Enin, were killed in a helicopter crash in the northern city of Brovary.

Some 15 children are among 29 others who were injured.

It's not clear what caused it - and officials made no reference to any Russian attack in the area at the time.
