Digital Disconnect: Kildare Residents Encouraged To Take A 'CyberBreak' This Evening

More than one in four 8 to 14 year-olds struggle to spend time away from gaming and social media.

Locals across Kildare are being encouraged t0 take a 24 hour 'CyberBreak' from 5pm this evening.

Children as young as 8 feel that they spend too much time online.

More than one in four 8 to 14 year-olds struggle to spend time away from gaming and social media.

CyberSafeKids research shows almost two-thirds of 12-14 year olds also believe they ‘spend too much time online’.

Its CEO Alex Cooney is encouraging people to take a 24 hour 'CyberBreak' from 5 o'clock this evening.
