New data from Revenue reveals Kildare as one of Ireland's leading counties for Help to Buy (HTB) claims, with 4,219 approvals since July 2020.
Following Cork and Dublin, Kildare ranks third in the number of claims under the tax relief scheme for first-time homebuyers.
Most of Kildare’s approvals, 4,039 in total, were for new home purchases, while self-build projects accounted for 180 claims.
The HTB scheme allows first-time buyers to claim up to €30,000 in tax relief.
