A driver in Kildare is facing proceedings, after displaying a fake tax disc.
Naas Roads Policing Unit stopped the vehicle whilst on patrol.
Using the mobility app, the tax disc was found to be counterfeit.
The car was untaxed for almost a year and has been seized.
