Kildare County Council says this is to facilitate upgrade works on the site.
St. Brigid’s Well at Tully in Kildare Town will be closed until Wednesday 25th January inclusive.
This is to facilitate upgrade works on site, including the installation of handrails at the entrance and bridge, along with surface works.
Public access cannot be facilitated while these works are in progress on health and safety grounds.
Upgrade works are due to be completed in time for St. Brigid’s Day celebrations on site.
