Gardaí are appealing for information following a car hijacking incident that occurred in Clane on Sunday, February 23, 2025.

A woman in her 40s was approached by a man who forcibly removed her from her parked vehicle before stealing the car and fleeing the scene.
During the altercation, a second woman in her 20s was assaulted.
Both women sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Naas General Hospital for medical treatment.
Gardaí are particularly interested in speaking with individuals who were on Main Street and surrounding areas between 9:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Sunday evening.
Road users or pedestrians who may have relevant camera footage, including dash-cam recordings, are also encouraged to share their material with investigators.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
Speaking on Kildare Today this morning, Detective Garda Shona Nolan said it would have been a "frightening experience".
