A 41 year old man has appeared before a court in Killarney, charged with the murder of his brother.
42 year old 'Paudie' O’Connor died following an assault on the 28th of June.
He was found with serious injuries at a house at An Caisleán Mór in Castleisland, County Kerry, in the early hours of Friday morning and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His brother Fergus O'Connor, with an address at The Village, Scartaglin, appeared before a special sitting of Killarney District Court last night, charged in connection with his death.
He's been remanded in custody to appear again before Tralee District Court on Wednesday.
