It happened at around 9pm last night on Sheriff Street Upper, when a man in his early 20s was stuck.
An ambulance took him to Beaumont hospital.

The car failed to stop at the scene, however a vehicle matching its description was found abandoned a short distance away on Guild Street, and has been removed for forensic examinations.
