Gardai in Co Cork are appealing for witnesses to a single car crash in which a man died.
An SUV was found on a grass verge on the roadside on a local road at Ballyedekin near Midelton shortly after 2pm on Friday.
Gardaí and emergency services were alerted and the driver in his 70s was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
His body has since been removed to the mortuary at Cork University Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
