Providing patients with all of their medical records
A new medical records app is currently being trialled by maternity patients, according to the Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly.
He says the app could be place for all patients by the end of this year, with limited records access initially.
The minister describes it as a “modest first step” with preliminary records to include medications, allergies, and descriptions of long-term conditions, with wider records to be available on the app from next year.
