DAA Call For A Decision On North Runway At Dublin Airport To Be Fast-Tracked

Reports suggest that the DAA's chair has written to the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar with the request.

The Dublin Airport Authority wants a decision on the north runway at Dublin Airport fast-tracked.

The Irish Examiner is reporting the DAA's chair has written to the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar with the request.

It's after Fingal County Council recently went about enforcing the new runway planning permission rule, which only allows for 65 flights per night.

Local Fingal TD Alan Farrell says the council's planning conditions shouldn't be breached by the DAA:
