Five people have died in a two-car crash in County Louth.
It happened in Gibstown, outside Dundalk shortly after 9pm last night.
The deceased are all in their 20s, their bodies remain at the scene this morning.
A number of other people were injured and removed to Our Lady's Hospital in Drogheda.
Gardaí say the road remains closed between the N52 and the R171 while technical examinations take place.
