The 93-year-old passed away on Tuesday
The funeral of broadcasting legend Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh has been taking place in county Kerry today.
GAA President Jarlath Burns and Tánaiste Mícheál Martin were among the crowds packed into St Mary's Church in Dingle, to pay tribute to the 93-year-old who died on Tuesday.
Among the offertory gifts brought to the alter were a microphone, a football, a hurley, a golf club, and a flat cap given to him by his grandson.
The chief celebrants of the mass were Parish Priest, Fr Michael Moynihan and Bishop of Kerry, Dr Ray Browne.
The congregation heard Mícheál had many passions in life, including broadcasting, sport, the Irish language, family, education, travel - and Kerry.
