A man and a woman have sustained serious injuries.
Gardaí are continuing to appeal for eyewitnesses to two separate hit-and-runs in Galway and Dublin on Saturday night -- which left a man and woman seriously injured.
At half past eight a man in his forties was knocked down by a car on the Furbogh to Spiddal Road.
Later that night, in Dublin, a woman was hit by a scrambler motor bike on the Priorswood road in Coolock at around a quarter past eleven.
