The Government is donating medical equipment to Nepal, in order to help the nation treat patients impacted by a recent wave of Covid cases.
Oxygen concentrators, ventilators, respiratory monitors, air regulators, along with over a million items of PPE will be loaded onto a flight shortly.
It's due to leave Shannon Airport later today, with the cost of delivery being subsidised by the Department of Foriegn Affairs.
Nepal is currently reporting over 1,500 cases a day which is down on a recent peak that hit over 9,000 last month.
