Father Tadgh & brothers Mark & Diarmuid died in October
An inquest has heard how 26 year old Mark O’Sullivan tried to defend himself when being shot by his father and brother.
The trainee solicitor was killed at a farm in Kanturk last October in a dispute over a family will.
The inquest ruled Mark was unlawfully killed, while his father Tadgh and younger brother Diarmuid both took their own lives shortly afterwards.
Mother, Anne, the sole survivor, died from cancer earlier this year.
Assistant State Pathologist, Dr. Margaret Bolster, told how Mark was shot seven times in his bedroom.
One of the bullets hit his arm, which she said was likely raised in an effort to defend himself.
