Gardaí have seized a large quantity of drugs and weapons in Dublin.
280,000 euro of suspected heroin and offensive weapons were discovered by Gardaí as part of ongoing investigations into the sale and supply of drugs.
The search was conducted at a number of properties in Dublin 8 on Friday afternoon.
The Armed Support Unit, the Street Crime Unit, the Divisional Crime Task Force and Gardaí attached to Operation Citizen took part in the operation.
2 kilos of suspected heroin was seized and has been sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
No arrests were made and investigations are ongoing.
