Local Parents Could Be Hit Hard As Creches Threaten To Close Over Funding Crisis

Sunday, 16 November 2025 12:43

By Martin Osborne - Head Of News

Elaine Dunne, Chairperson of the Federation of Early Childhood Providers, said it would not be just a one-day closure.

Parents could now face a bill of up to 1,400 a month.

Elaine Dunne, Chairperson of the Federation of Early Childhood Providers, says the government funding scheme is not working.
