That's according to AccuWeather.
Ireland is expected to see frequent batches of snow this winter.
The long-range forecast from AccuWeather predicts stretches of drier weather and settled conditions for Northern Europe.
But the weather forecaster says there's opportunity for prolonged bouts of cold air later in the winter.
It says snow is not necessarily going to come from any individual big storm, but there will be frequent batches of light to moderate snow.
