Mother And Children Named As Victims In Fermanagh Killings

The victims have been named locally as Vanessa Whyte and her children, James and Sara.

The killings of a woman and her two young children in Co. Fermanagh have been described as devastating.

The victims have been named locally as Vanessa Whyte and her children, James and Sara.

Ms Whyte was found dead alongside one of her children at a house in Maguiresbridge yesterday.

The second child died later in hospital.

A man who was also found inside the house is being treated in hospital for serious injuries.

PSNI Superintendent Robert Magowan says they are investigating a suspected murder and attempted suicide.
