The man was found with serious injuries on the 5th July.
A murder investigation is underway in Co. Louth after a man who was found injured at a house in Dundalk earlier this month, died yesterday in hospital.
44 year old Marius Juodenas was found with serious injuries when Gardaí were called to a house on Barrack St. in Dundalk on the evening of 5th July.
He was initially taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, but his head injuries were so severe he was later transferred to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin where he was placed on life support.
Yesterday Marius lost his fight for life, that prompted Gardai to establish a murder inquiry.
An incident room has been set up at Dundalk Garda Station and officers are appealing for anyone in the Barrack St. area of the town between 6.30 and 7pm on July 5th to get in touch.
