A woman in her 50s is also in hospital.
A murder investigation is underway after a woman in her 60s and a four-year-old boy died in a house fire in Offaly.
It broke out at a home in Castleview Park in Edenderry at about 7.45 yesterday evening.
Another woman, aged in her 50s, is in hospital with serious injuries.
The house has been declared a crime scene and Garda technical examinations are ongoing, with post mortems due to begin this afternoon at Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore.
