Supermarket sales fell by 5.9 per cent in the 12 weeks to July 11th.
The Kantar figures show in the most recent 4 week period, they declined by 3.6 per cent, as Irish shoppers enjoyed warmer temperatures, renewed freedoms and the return of live sport.
