The Taoiseach will hold face-to-face talks with the new DUP leader this evening.

Edwin Poots will travel to Dublin to meet Micheál Martin for the first time since he replaced Arlene Foster last month.

The talks are likely to focus on the Northern Ireland Protocol, which the DUP wants scrapped.

The meeting will be held at Government Buildings at 7pm.
